Childhood Development and How Raising Baby Can Help
What is child development?
Child development is the biological, psychological and emotional changes that occur within each child from birth to adolescence, including physical growth, brain development, growth in their skills and awareness of their environment.
Child development stages:
Birth to 6 months, 6 months to 1 year, 1 year to 2 years, 2 years to 3 years. Motor, social-emotional, language and cognitive are the stages each child experiences as they grow older. A child’s brain grows 85% by the age of three.
How does Raising Baby help with child development?
Raising Baby provides education, interactive activities, and overall support to ensure a healthy child development in the first three years. We offer personalized screenings to assist in identifying developmental delays, challenges with physical growth, and building healthy family relationships. We have a culturally sensitive curriculum that addresses all aspects of child development. We also offer child development focused activities that promote healthy growth in motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and language.
What is Raising Baby?
Raising Baby is a free, live online home visiting program that provides customized, individual sessions with a Parent Coach and Early Childhood Clinician. In addition, you can join other families in a virtual group setting to support each other and build community relationships.

- Pregnant families in their third trimester
- Families with babies under 1 year of age
