Intergenerational Multicultural Cookbook Challenge

LA’s Department of Aging launched the Angeleno International Multicultural Cookbook Challenge to celebrate LA’s diverse community and keep family recipes alive. Seniors enrolled in the Department of Aging Congregate Meals Program and students in Los Angleses were invited to submit recipes. JFSLA’s Senior Nutrition Meal Program led with the most entries. On April 17, JFSLA hosted the winner announcement at JFSLA’s Pan Pacific Park senior meal site, honoring all 15 participating seniors.
