JFS Gala Honoree Spotlight: Vicki K. Gold | Anita & Stanley Hirsh Award

A Los Angeles native, Vicki Kates Gold began volunteering for Jewish Family Service LA’s JFS Hope domestic violence program in 2006, where she served as the Co-Chair of their community outreach group, Friends of the Shelter. In 2008, Vicki joined the Jewish Family Service LA Board of Directors. She stepped down in 2010 to join the JFS staff as JFS Hope’s Community Outreach Specialist. Vicki stayed on as a Jewish Family Service LA staff member for nearly a decade, serving as Volunteer Coordinator and as a member of the Resource Development team. Vicki “retired” from the Jewish Family Service LA staff in 2018 but has continued to volunteer on behalf of the agency, especially for JFS Hope. Vicki has served on the Parents Boards of Castlemont, Oakwood, and Harvard Westlake. She was also a member of the Board of Trustees for Pitzer College. Vicki and her husband, Daniel, have two children, Jason and Samantha.
