JFSLA Voter Guide
Why Voting Matters to JFSLA and YOU
Voter engagement is a critical part of the work Jewish Family Service LA does because it empowers people and communities, helping us further our mission. JFSLA encourages our clients, staff, volunteers, and Board members, who are eligible to vote and advocate for themselves and their community. If you haven’t yet registered to vote, now is the time to do so!
Voting is a critical step in making sure our voices are heard and amplifies our voice to influence the issues that matter to us and to the JFSLA community. Your vote is your power. It plays a crucial role in shaping decisions that impact our everyday lives, from simplifying CalFresh application processes and determining SSI benefit levels, to deciding what Medi-Cal covers. These decisions are influenced by those we elect to office. If these issues resonate with you, then your vote is essential.
Engage in the process, make your voice heard, and be a part of shaping the future for yourself and those around you. Your vote is a powerful tool for change!
