Counseling Centers

Professional JFS therapists provide counseling and support for adults, children, and families dealing with a wide range of issues. Services include one-on-one counseling and psychotherapy, consultation and referral, parent education, support groups, divorce mediation, parent education, school-based counseling, workshops on a variety of topics and collaboration with synagogues and other Jewish institutions. At various JFS locations, counseling is available to the English, Russian, Hebrew, Farsi and Spanish speaking communities.

Services are provided on a sliding fee scale and some insurance is accepted.

Conveniently located throughout the city of LA and San Fernando Valley, JFS Counseling Centers are an important resource for individuals, families, and communities.

Social services for Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
JFSLA receives funds from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Holocaust Survivor Emergency Assistance Fund, administered by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany for the benefit of needy Jewish Nazi victims.
Funds have been provided by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany for the Emergency Assistance Program for Nazi Victims at the discretion of the United States District Court supervising the lawsuit In Re: Holocaust Victim Assets Litigation (Swiss Banks).
